MY SHOW, EPISODE #2: CLEANING DAY

This is show #2. Filmed August 2, 2008. This was one of the most humid days ever. It took me six hours to take care of our messy garage. This wasn’t uploaded at its highest quality, it still looks okay. Enjoy!

MY SHOW, EPISODE #4: WHO IS JACOB TURK, PART 1

MY SHOW, SPECIAL EPISODE: THE MOVE (SEPTEMBER 4, 2008)

Just watch and see how the last three and a half years have been a remarkable time. After shedding some tears at Zack’s wedding and watching him shed some to, I look back at my time living with him with gratefulness in my heart. Zack has been such a faithful older brother to me. There are to many stories that I could tell of our friendship. This video is not meant to be sad, but it kind of is. I originally wanted to use the song “With some help from my friends,” if you remember the show The Wonder Years, that was the theme song but something happened in the edit process and I was unable to use that song. I thought this song by Coldplay was a little to sad but humorously fitting for the moment.

Its tears of Joy and tears of breaking the comfort zone. Change, whether it be good or bad, and usually its always a little bit of both; can work to help us grow and learn more about ourselves, about God, and about those that He has placed in our lives. Hope you enjoy. And don’t cry to hard.

MY SHOW, EPISODE #6: DANNY AND CHARITY’S WEDDING

This was filmed on Monday Oct. 20, 2008 at Danny and Charity’s wedding. Prior to this show is this 40 second clip from when they first got engaged.

MY SHOW, EPISODE #7: NIGHT TIME OUTREACH

I am challenging myself to learn something new every time I make a new show. As far as editing goes, I have kept things pretty simple, and that’s what I want to keep doing but as an editor I want to stretch myself each time I make a new show. This is my first episode learning something new with titles in After Effects. Filmed Friday Oct. 24 , this episode is tuned to the LOST soundtrack and is footage of an evangelism outreach in downtown Kansas City. Enjoy!
