Seeing this picture makes me think of two things: How unimpressed Sarah really is with my muscles and how much fun I had ushering on the Night Watch. When its 3 o clock in the morning and you are scared to walk to your car the only thing between you and your destination is a man in a yellow vest. Ushers are like bees but their sting does not cause them to die, it causes others to appreciate having them around. I gave it a good run.

Thanks for watching!

Yes, I am still alive. No, I don’t take pictures of myself all the time. Here is the ruckus in my life. Its been almost three months now that I have been back in Kansas City. All I have to say is WOWAAHHH…I love this place and I don’t ever want to leave again….ummmm unless its my honeymoon, but we might just take some day trips to Belton.

My life has mostly been consisting of lots of work at the First Watch, Royals baseball games, and hockey on the weekends. In between it all me and Z are living it up getting ready for the teens who will be here in two weeks.

First Watch, I am sad to say, will soon not be apart of my life in a few weeks. It has been a very good experience working at a restaurant. I surprised myself with waiting tables. I always thought I was way to ADD and head-in-the-clouds to multitask making people smile and paying attention to the details but after just a couple of months…I think I do pretty well.

I am getting ready to transition into a very very awesome summer of really, really, learning how to make quality professional videos. I began kind of learning how to edit and use a camera four years ago at my high school. I took a video production class and every Wednesday and Friday we would produce RMHS TV. It was a ten minute news show. In the months that I had this class I realized that making videos and thinking video is a very natural talent. Its been since then that I have been writing down all my ideas but haven’t really had the time nor the equipment to pursue this passion.

The goal this summer: To produce high quality videos that are both funny and serious, concise, and straightforward. People don’t have time to sit in front of a screen for long hours trying to figure out what you are trying to communicate. People need to know what the point is and why it is important to them. I am so excited for this opportunity.

Our Friday night league is almost over. We have one final game left on June 13. So far we have only lost one game and that was because my pal Bengi traded himself and helped them beat our team…I’m over it, but I am still better than him. Playing hockey again has been very healthy for my soul. I also am realizing how competitive I really am and how much loosing really sucks and winning just makes you feel better then everyone around you.

This is a pic of me playing a few weeks ago. My family was in town for my FSM graduation and they were able to watch me play. Unfortunately I didn’t score any goals when they saw me play. This past Friday I burned my broken stick. All 17 points on that Sherwood went, doused in lighter fluid, into the fire hole.

There is always more to tell but for now I got a peace out. We are going to the Royals game as they try to break their nine game loosing streak. They play the Twins, which was the first baseball team I ever saw as a a kid….but I am a die hard Royal all the way.

EEOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!
